Watford's pharmacist-led travel clinics — NaTHNaC-aligned, Yellow Fever certified.
We're the dedicated travel-medicine service of Pyramid Pharmacy, run from two Watford clinics by GPhC-registered pharmacist Manpreet Athwal. Independently regulated, MHRA-licensed for every vaccine, and aligned with current NaTHNaC, UKHSA and WHO guidance.
Travel-medicine specialists, part of a long-standing Watford pharmacy group.
Watford Clinics is the travel-medicine service of Pyramid Pharmacy, an independent pharmacy group. We run dedicated travel clinics from two Watford branches — Pyramid Pharmacy on Leavesden Road and Tudorken Pharmacy on St Albans Road.
Travellers come to us for everything from short city breaks in Asia and Latin America to long safaris in sub-Saharan Africa, Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, family gap years and last-minute business trips. We see patients from across Watford and the surrounding area — Bushey, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, Abbots Langley, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and north-west London.
We're independently regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), MHRA-licensed for every vaccine we administer, and aligned with current guidance from the National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC), the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Both branches are contracted NHS pharmacies offering Pharmacy First and dispensing services alongside our private travel-medicine clinics.
Manpreet Athwal Superintendent Pharmacist & Travel Medicine Lead
I'm Manpreet — superintendent pharmacist at Watford Clinics. I lead the clinical team and run the travel-medicine consultations we offer across our two Watford clinics. I'm GPhC-registered (reg. 2079775), MPharm-qualified, Yellow Fever trained, and I work to the current NaTHNaC and UKHSA guidance. I've prepared thousands of travellers for trips spanning every continent — from Hajj pilgrims with five days' notice to families heading to India to multi-country South American expeditions. Book with me directly, or call the team.
Travel medicine, the way it should be.
Six principles every consultation runs on.
Every consultation is with a GPhC-registered pharmacist. No counter-assistant triage, no rushed handover.
We follow the same NaTHNaC and UKHSA guidance NHS travel clinics use, refreshed every consultation.
Most slots are available within 5 working days. Walk-ins welcome subject to pharmacist availability.
Designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre — we issue the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICVP) on the day.
You never pay for the conversation. You only pay for the vaccines and antimalarials you actually receive.
Reactions, post-trip symptoms, advice — call us first. We triage in clinic and refer onward if needed.

Yellow Fever ICVP certificate, full vaccine record, malaria advice and country-specific health info to take with you.
Any reactions or post-trip symptoms — call us first. We triage and refer to GP, A&E or the Hospital for Tropical Diseases as appropriate.
